Recipe from S. Harvey of Texas
Ingredients:
1 lb of ground beef
1 tbsp of chili powder
1 onion, chopped
1 can of tomato soup, pureed
2 cans of water
1 can of whole corn
1 chopped green pepper
salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg Jiffy cornbread mix
Directions:
Brown beef & onion. Add soup, water, salt, pepper, chili powder, corn and green pepper. Simmer 15 minutes and pour into casserole. Mix Jiffy cornbread mix as on package. Then drizzle cornbread mixture over meat mixture. Bake 350 for 18 to 20 minutes or until cornbread is golden brown.
