LOS ANGELES (AP) - An attorney says California Highway Patrol investigators have seized medical records of a woman seen on video being repeatedly punched by one of the agency's officers on the side of a Los Angeles freeway. Chris Arevalo, executive administrator for psychiatric services at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, confirmed Wednesday that the CHP had served a search warrant on Tuesday. Attorney Caree Harper, who represents 51-year-old Marlene Pinnock, says investigators also took clothing from the July 1 incident.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A federal criminal complaint says a passenger on a flight this week from London to Los Angeles threatened to kill flight attendants and blow up the plane. The FBI says 20-year-old Kevin Lee Mosele of Kihei, Hawaii, was charged Tuesday with interfering with a flight crew. He could get 20 years in federal prison if convicted. According to the complaint, Mosele told investigator's he'd had several drinks in London before boarding the plane.

SAN DIEGO (AP) - The city of San Diego is being sued by 30 exotic dancers who say police stripped them of their rights. The Los Angeles Times says the suit, filed yesterday, contends that vice squad officers made strippers pose in various positions in order to photograph their tattoos and made "arrogant and demeaning remarks" during licensing inspections at two strip clubs. The suit, which also names the police chief, alleges unreasonable search and seizure.

LOMA LINDA, Calif. (AP) - A Southern California medical center plans to expand with the help of a donation of $100 million from a Riverside couple. Loma Linda University Health System said yesterday that the donation will help fund the construction of a new adult hospital and the addition of a wing to its children's hospital. President Richard Hart says the donation will fund technological and design upgrades to the 47-year-old medical center and that the upgrades are part of its $1.2 billion Vision 2020 campaign.
