Four-time deportee accused of molesting young girl

Posted: Updated:
SPRINGTOWN, Texas - The Parker County Sheriff’s Office says a man who has been deported from the country four times in the past was arrested over the weekend for allegedly molesting a 9-year-old girl.

Sheriff Larry Fowler said Israel Andrade, 35, of Mexico broke into a Springtown home early Saturday and molested the girl while her parents and siblings were asleep in other rooms.

The girl ran into her parent's room and told them what was going on, and Andrade fled through a bedroom window.

The family had to call 911 from a nearby convenience store because their cell phones had been stolen.

The little girl says the intruder motioned to her repeatedly, trying to get her to leave with him.

“I felt scared that if I screamed, he'd do something to me, so I ran to my parents' room,” said the victim.

Andrade was actually found at a relative's home about a mile away, sleeping on top of the stolen phones. A next-door neighbor told detectives that Andrade had been at their party the night before.

Deputies also found a pair of the child's and child’s mother’s panties inside the suspect's blue jeans, and they matched his shoes to footprints left at the scene.

“I'm so thankful he didn't pick her up, grab her,” said the victim’s mother. “I’m glad she was smart enough not to follow him to the back bedroom.”

Andrade was charged with the burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony. He is also a known criminal illegal immigrant.

Records from the Immigration and Naturalization Service show he was deported from the United States in July 2003, February 2004, September 2009 and December 2010.

Andrade told deputies he moved to Texas from Mexico about 30 days ago.

“He doesn’t have to worry about going back to Mexico anyway soon,” Sheriff Larry Fowler said. “He’s looking at five to 99.”
