PHOENIX - A shooting victim crashed into a downtown Phoenix house near 35th Ave and Fillmore early Saturday morning.

There were people inside the house when the crash happened but everyone inside is okay.

One witness told police the driver of the car ran from the scene after he crashed into the families front porch.

Police say the 28-year-old passenger who was shot moved to the driver's side of the car where he was yelling for help.

Police say the gunshot victim was undergoing surgery for his injury.

Investigators say they're working to determine if the shot was fired from inside or outside the vehicle.
