Why you shouldn't do an 'ex apology tour' (like Adam Levine is)

Before Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine ties the knot with Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo this summer, he's going on a different kind of tour. It's got nothing to do with his music, but his exes. According to Us Weekly, he's calling all of his former flames to make amends because he wants to go into his marriage with a clean slate. It's called an ex apology tour.

We couldn't find any guys willing to admit they've made the pre-wedding apology rounds. Though some women said they wouldn't necessarily mind.

But others said they'd rather an ex lose their number than call to get something off of his chest.

"It's very cleansing for the person to do, but for the person receiving the information it's not, because presumably either I've gotten over the relationship and I don't care if you're getting married or not, or I'm still hurt," Dr. Cooper Lawrence, a developmental psychologist. "So why would you want to reopen that wound?"

Lawrence adds that the ex-apology tour is selfish and self-serving. She encourages grooms and brides-to-be to work through their issues in other ways.

"If you're feeling guilty, work that out with your new significant other, work that out with a therapist but don't go back," she says.

Adam Levine, take note.

Six people were indicted Wednesday in an international ring that managed to take over more than 1,000 StubHub users' accounts and fraudulently buy tickets to such prime events as Jay-Z and Elton John concerts, a New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game and Broadway shows like "The Book of Mormon," the Manhattan district attorney said. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. said the thieves would then resell the tickets and split up the proceeds.
