Cops: Ice cream truck driver sexually abused child

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Police on Long Island say an ice cream truck driver is under arrested for sexually abusing a child.

Suffolk County Police arrested Muhammad Chaudhry on Thursday for an incident that took place in Wyandanch last month.

Police say that an 11-year-old girl went up to Chaudhry's truck at approximately 7:25 p.m. on May 21st.

They say Chaudhry fondled the child as she made a purchase.

Chaudhry, of Middle Village, was charged with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was scheduled to appear in a Central Islip courtroom on Thursday.
