TONOPAH, Ariz. - Deputies are investigating a single car rollover that killed two people on Thursday morning.

A driver first saw the overturned car near Wickenburg and Baseline Roads and then two bodies laying nearby.

Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies say it appears the car was traveling west when it crossed the center lane, hit the east shoulder, but returned to the west lane at an angle and began to roll.

The man was ejected about 90 feet and the woman was ejected about 120 feet.

The relationship between the victims isn't known, but deputies are working to identify them.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, but deputies believe speed may have been a factor.

It's not known if drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.

This is a developing story. Stay with FOX 10 News for updates.
