TEMPE, Ariz. - Dozens of people gathered to honor 33-year-old Charla Faust at a vigil held at the site she was murdered. Tempe police say the mother of three was shot and killed by her estranged boyfriend at her condo complex near Rural and Guadalupe roads.

As police intensify their search for her alleged killer, Faust's family says the suspect continues to torment them on social media.

The family says he wrote a post on her facebook saying "the B**** is dead."  It appeared on Faust's Facebook page less than an hour after she was shot.

Faust's sister say the alleged killer hacked into the account and wrote the post. The family asked facebook to take it down, but says the company sent them a message saying the post won't be taken down because it doesn't break their rules.

Fox 10 reached out to Facebook, sending the company a link of the post and asking why it couldn't be taken down.

Tonight the company send a statement to FOX 10, writing in part: "We're deeply sorry for this family's loss...Because the post you shared below was posted to Ms. Faust's timeline after her death...We have removed the post. "

It's a small victory for the family as they grieve the loss of their loved one--a devoted mother who before her death, her family says, finally decided to leave her abusive boyfriend.

"He broke my family," says Danni Faust, the victim's sister, "She was coming back to us, after four or five long years she was finally coming back," she says.

Tempe police want the public to be on the lookout for the suspect. They believe he is an avid camper and may be hiding out in a remote area.

"Please find this guy. He needs to be brought to justice. The family needs him to be put away, especially, what he wrote on her facebook, that was terrible," said Sharon Baker, a family friend.

Family and friends are raising money for funeral expenses. They are holding a car wash Friday morning at the 7-11 at Baseline and Mill.
