Tires, rims stolen from dealership lot in Orion Township

Posted: Updated:
ORION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) - Dozens of tires and rims were stolen off 13 different vehicles parked at a dealership's overflow lot in Orion Township over the weekend.

Owner of Milosch's Palace, Mark Milosch, came to work Monday morning and says he also saw the perpetrators had thrown cinder blocks through the windows of some of the vehicles. He says the damages and stolen property add up to around $60,000.

Milosch says the tires and rims were mostly stolen from Dodge Chargers, Dodge Challengers, Dodge Ram trucks and Jeeps.

The lot where the cars were parked is adjacent to Milosch's Palace Collision Center.

Detectives with the Oakland County Sheriff's Department believe four people were involved and were using a silver or gray Jeep Cherokee used as a look-out vehicle. They were able to stuff all the wheels and rims into a light-colored, dual axle commercial box truck similar to a U-Haul.

Milosch says this isn't the first time his dealership and collision shop have been targeted and he plans to install more security cameras.
