PHOENIX (AP) - A Tempe man convicted in February of murder and assault in the 2010 shooting death of his ex-girlfriend is set for a court appearance.

Wade Bradford, who operated massage parlors, was accused of killing Natalie Allan in 2010 when she came to his home to collect her belongings with her new boyfriend.

He claimed her shooting death was an accident. He was found guilty of first-degree murder and aggravated assault.

Bradford also is charged in the 2006 death of a previous girlfriend whose body was found in 2011. Trial in that case is set for Oct. 15.

Prosecutors on Friday are expected to ask the judge to delay sentencing for his February conviction until after his second murder trial.

Bradford has pleaded not guilty in that case.
