Police say a third suspect has been arrested for the murder of a CVS security guard last week.

The arrest came just nearly two hours after Detroit police announced they were looking for him and shared his identity with the public. Police at that time also announced they have two other suspects in custody, thanks to the help from an anonymous tip.

The third suspect, Jamare Lanelle Rucker, 20, was arrested in the area of 14 Mile and Dequindre roads and has been transferred back to a detention center in Detroit.

He has been arrested in connection with the murder of Courtney Meeks, 24.

Police say the other two suspects in custody for Meeks' murder are 24 and 26 years old. FOX 2's Taryn Asher reports one suspect offered a full confession on how the attack caught on CVS surveillance camera went down.

Meeks was shot and killed while confronting three suspects in the process of carjacking a woman and a 6-year-old child. The shooting occurred at the CVS pharmacy he worked at on Schaeffer Highway near West McNichols Road on February 26.

The viewing for Meeks will be held on Friday, March 7 from 3 - 8 p.m. at the O.H. Pye Funeral home on Plymouth Road in Detroit.

The funeral will be Saturday, March 8 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Ambassador for Christ Church on Plymouth Road in Detroit.
