Atlanta Hunger Walk/Run Turns 30 In Style

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

It's an annual 5K walk/"fun run" which benefits local groups fighting hunger. And this weekend, it turns the big 3-0!

The Atlanta Community Food Bank's Hunger Walk/Run began in 1984 -- and since then has raised more than $7 million for hunger relief. Last year alone, more than 15,000 people raised more than $630,000, which benefits the ACFB and other local nonprofits. This year, for the 30th anniversary on Sunday, members of the Imperial Opa Circus will be on-site at the event to entertain attendees throughout the afternoon.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken went to the ACFB for a preview of this year's event -- and wouldn't you know it, came close to running away with the circus! Check out his adventures with the Imperial Opa Circus in the video clips above!
