MESA, Ariz. -

Two years ago, she was on "The Maury Povich Show," accused of being a bad teen mom.  Now the 20-year-old Mesa woman is accused of a brutal and vicious murder.

Investigators say text and Facebook messages led them to Judith Walthers, saying she was with the victim the night he was killed and claim her DNA and fingerprints were found on the wrench used to kill him.

54-year-old Kevin Worzalla was found dead inside of his Mesa apartment.  He had been stabbed to death and beaten with a crescent wrench.

Police say Walthers is a drug addict and killed Worzalla to steal his stereo, truck and rare coin collection.

The two allegedly knew each other, but their relationship is unclear.

Detectives say Walthers was staying with Worzalla in his apartment when she attacked him.

Police say Walthers plotted to kill Worzalla and tried to get a family member to help, but that person refused.

Worzalla's body wasn't found for a week after he was killed.

Police say Walthers drove Worzalla's truck around before she was arrested.

Walthers is facing first degree murder, burglary and trafficking in stolen property charges.
