PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

A former Phoenix Police officer Chris Wilson accused of sexual conduct with two teenage boys. FOX 10 has obtained audio tapes of the interrogation.

Wilson: "it was all mutual but I mean. I was a fool on my part I should have known better"

Wilson was very forthcoming with detective.

Detective: "do you think you committed a crime?"
Wilson: "no."
Detective: "do you think you made a bad decision?"
Wilson: "I made a bad decision."

Wilson has been accused having sexual contact with two teenage boys one 17, the other 14 he says the relationships were consensual.

Wilson: "either way it is my fault."

He was arrested after one of the teen's parent's saw a suspicious text message and alerted police.  Wilson was the department's liaison to the LGBT community which appears to be how he came to know at least one of the victims.

Wilson: "prior to this incident I was just helping him out."

He admitted to the detective that he knew the teens were underage.

Detective: "even though you didn't truly know his age you thought at least that he was under 18 and same with (unidentified)?"
Wilson: "yes."

Wilson has been charged with multiple counts of sexual conduct with a minor, he has pleaded not guilty to those charges and is awaiting trial.
