MLB Player Uses Dolphin To Propose

Posted: Updated:
ORLANDO, FL -

A major league baseball player hits a home run with a wedding proposal, and he gets an assist from a dolphin.

Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Alex Cobb had a sign placed on a dolphin's buoy that read, "Kelly, will you marry me?"

When the dolphin swam up to Kelly and opened up its smiley mouth, Kelly said yes, and, as FOX 29's Karen Hepp noted, turned completely magenta with love.

Cobb's proposal took place at "Discovery Cove" in Orlando.

Later, Cobb still followed tradition and got down on one knee with a ring. Kelly got a double proposal, basically.
