The Make-A-Wish Foundation is granting 13 kids from around the country the wish of a lifetime: to go to Sunday's Super Bowl.
Matthew Walton of Wayne, N.J. is fighting a battle against Crohn's disease. But that hasn't stopped him from being a football player at school and an avid fan of the biggest game in America, which he and his brother Eddie will be attending on Sunday.
Carlos Bake Shop in Hoboken made a cake for the Make-A-Wish event. Joe Faugno works at the famous shop. His daughter Bartolina is a survivor who was once a Make-A-Wish kid. Faugno said she had numerous brain surgeries but is doing well and will be a freshmen in college next year.
Michael Parchinsky, 17, of Brooklyn was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. He is now in remission. He and his dad will in attendance on Sunday.
John Crowley is a national board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. His 17-year-old daughter, Megan, who's fighting Pompe disease has been an advocate of Make-A-Wish.
