Man Arrested In Deadly Hit & Run In Fontana

After an almost 7 hour manhunt, the CHP says they have found and arrested the truck driver in that fatal hit and run crash Thursday morning at Etiwanda and San Bernardino.

That is where the CHP says a man driving a tractor-trailer ran a red light, Crashing into two cars traveling westbound on San Bernardino. One driver, a man was killed instantly.

Two people in a small suv were slightly injured.

Witnesess say the driver of the big-rig, never stopped. He  just kept on driving with a witness following behind him.  Less than a mile down the street that driver  the dumped the truck and took off running. Using witness descriptions and  K-9's police tracked his scent to the Auto club speedway where they lost it. He was later found at his Fontana home.
