Woman Who Jumped From Beverly Hills Building Identified

Posted: Updated:

A 53 year old woman who jumped to her death from a 15 story building in the heart of Beverly Hills last week has been identified.

The L.A. county coroner's office identified her as Sandra Nicole D'Auriol, 53, of Hong Kong.

Several streets in the so called "golden triangle" area of Beverly Hills were brought to a standstill last Wednesday, Jan. 22 when the woman stood and sat naked on the roof of a medical building at 414 Camden Drive for several hours, and then finally jumped to her death.

Crisis negotiators attempted to talk the woman down, but were unsuccessful.

Sources in the medical community say the woman had been staying overnight at the medical facility after having undergone a facelift the day before in the office of Dr. Brian Novack.

The woman reportedly became agitated early Wednesday morning, pulling off her gown and then escaping to the roof.

Novack's office would not comment on the incident, which is still under investigation.  An autopsy on D'Auriol has not yet been performed.
