Detroit police are investigating the death of a 16-month-old boy.

According to FOX 2's Erika Erickson, who is at the scene on Keating Street, police are questioning three adults for possible child abuse. "Severe marks," possibly burn marks, were found on the baby's body.

Erickson reports police are questioning the child's mother, her boyfriend and the child's uncle. The uncle was home watching the boy Thursday and says he discovered the child was not breathing around 1 p.m. He alerted the boyfriend and called 911. The mother was not home at the time, according to police.

Neighbors tell Erickson that, due to the appearance of the home, they did not even think anyone was living at the home.
