PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

Investigators were seen wearing hazardous materials suits at the site of a Phoenix business near the airport Tuesday as they went through dumpsters at a body donation lab.

That was the scene at Biological Resource  Center near 24th Street and University after agents raided the building after a joint investigation by the FBI and Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne's office.

The AG's office says the business is a body donation center where people can donate their bodies to science, but has yet to reveal what crime may have been committed.

"I think the hazmat is what alarms me probably the most.. I don't know what's going on, so you worry about the employees and everyone else around here," said Stephanie McDowell, who owns a business next door.

The AG's office says agents were wearing the suits for their protection and that people in the area have nothing to worry about.

"The AG's office and FBI are working together on a joint investigation that will continue over the next few weeks. Due to the nature of the business in question, the site is secure and bio hazard precautions are being made as an extra safety measure for the investigators. The general public is in no danger.  We will not be making further comment today as it could compromise this ongoing investigation," stated Stephanie Grisham, Press Secretary for the Attorney General's office.
