PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

Whether it's doing household chores or training for a fitness competition, fitness model Barbie Thomas makes it look easy while shocking those around her.

For most of us, doing Thomas' daily activities seems unimaginably difficult.

Thomas lost both her arms when she was just a kid.

Her story is one of over-coming adversity while striving to be better. Thomas grew into a woman who's a mom, model and an inspiration for others.

On the horizon, Thomas wants to write a book or two. One will be about her life and the other on the different reactions she gets from total strangers.
