GLENDALE, Ariz. -

Glendale Police are looking for a driver who allegedly ran a red light and T-boned a fire truck on Friday morning.

The truck was no its way to a medical call near 51st Avenue and Glendale when it was hit by the car.

Even though the car was badly damaged, the male driver was well enough to get out of the car, grab a binder of some sort and run away.

He still hasn't been caught and as it turns out, the car had been stolen.

"That it was stolen on December 27th from Glendale.. they're looking for a Hispanic male, about 6 feet tall.  That's all we know at this time," said Mike Young of the Phoenix Fire Department.

No on in the fire truck was injured and they aren't sure about the suspect since he took off running.

Firefighters estimate the truck has at least $10,000 in damage.

If you have any information about this case, call the Glendale Police at 623-930-3000.
