SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- Police in Oakland County and Georgia are searching for a 24-year-old man who disappeared last month.

Southfield Lt. Nick G. Loussia says his department is assisting the Columbia County Sheriff's Office in finding James Wesley Johnson, who was last seen on Dec. 13.

Police say Johnson took a bus from Georgia bound for Southfield. He arrived at a bus station in Detroit on Dec. 14. It appears that he exited the bus and did not continue on to Southfield.

Police believe Johnson may be in the Oakland County area. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Columbia County Sheriff's Office at (706) 541-2800.
