PD: Man critically injured, found bleeding in Glendale street

GLENDALE, Ariz. -

Police are investigating a reported shooting near 59th Avenue and Colter on Wednesday. 

According to Glendale police, someone waiting for a bus noticed a black man in his 40s bleeding on the street.

He was rushed to a hospital in very critical condition.

Officers haven't confirmed the man was involved with a shooting and are still investigating.

William C. Jack and Don Mensendick schools were on lockdown for a short time during the police activity.

59th Avenue near Colter is shut down and will continue to be for the next four to five hours.
