CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Two South Side men are facing felony drug charges after police allegedly saw them carry out a drug deal Tuesday afternoon on the Southwest Side.

Eliseo Cabrales, 38, faces one felony count of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance, police said. Jesus Lopez, 54, faces one felony count of possession of a controlled substance.

About 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, narcotics division officers allegedly saw Cabrales deliver a package to a vehicle Lopez was driving on the 2400 block of West 51st Street, police said.

The officers stopped the car to investigate and discovered the package held two kilograms of cocaine, and both men were arrested, police said.

An additional 19 kilograms of cocaine, five kilograms of methamphetamine and a semi-automatic handgun were also recovered from an apartment on that block, police said.

Cabrales, of the 2400 block of West 51st Street, and Lopez, of the 4900 block of South Wolcott Avenue, were scheduled to appear in bond court Wednesday.
