BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) - A woman sought in a 2011 killing in Mohave County was arrested when she entered the United States from Mexico.

According to the Mohave Daily News, Bullhead City police say 35-year-old Nora Yesenia Sandoval was arrested last week when she crossed the border at a port in Calexico, Calif.

A warrant charging Sandoval with murder in the killing of 36-year-old Raymond Sanchez was issued in September.

Sanchez had been stabbed more than 80 times and his body was dumped after being wrapped in plastic shower curtains.

Sandoval had been a fugitive since fleeing the Bullhead City area to avoid a trial for methamphetamine sales. She was convicted in absentia and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
