One valley family has a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving -- a lot of love from the nearly 50 children they have fostered over the years.
Throwing the ball around is a favorite activity for James Weber and his boys.
"When they call me dad for the first time, it's a great feeling. I love it," said Weber.
What makes moments like this all the more special is that Weber and his wife, Michelle Campbell are foster parents.
"We tried to have children as a couple and we weren't successful, so we decided.. we always wanted to adopt, so we're just going to go in head first and we did," said Campbell.
In the past seven years, the couple has fostered 45 children in the Arizona foster care system. There are more than 14,000 more who still need love and care.
"There really wasn't a big difference between a lot of the children that came through our home and the children that came out of my body," said Campbell.
Michelle and James have adopted four kids and are in the process of adopting two more.
By sharing their story, they will help even more kids find forever homes this holiday season.
