(WJBK) -

A Rochester Hills man was arrested in a Roseville motel Monday after local police have been looking for an online ticket scammer for months. Roseville police believe they have arrested a man who was selling fake Cedar Point tickets on Craigslist.

26-year-old Robert Briskey has been charged with four counts of False Pretenses in the 2nd Degree, a five-year felony; and four counts of Using a Computer in the Commission of a Crime, a one-year misdemeanor.

Police believe Briskey swindled thousands of dollars from unsuspecting families. The families met up with him to purchase what they believed were discounted tickets, then found out at the Cedar Point entrance the tickets were invalid. Police say Briskey has a criminal history with numeral arrests for fraud in the past.

A judge set his bond at $25,000. A preliminary examination is set for December 4th.
