Emergency repairs made to George Washington Bridge

FORT LEE, N.J. (AP) - Workers have finished emergency repairs on the George Washington Bridge that closed three lanes heading into New York City.

All lanes are open.

Motorists faced significant delays as New York City-bound traffic was brought to a standstill during Monday evening's rush.

Lanes leading into New Jersey were open.

The shootout happened near West 4th Street and Jones Street. Speaking at a news conference, Mayor Bill de Blasio said the marshals and cop were taken to a local hospital with apparently non-life threatening injuries.
