PHOENIX -

An actor gets caught in drama on board an US Airways flight at Sky Harbor on Monday.

Actor Brandon T. Jackson, known for his roles in the movies "Tropic Thunder," "Percy Jackson" and "Lottery Ticket," was kicked off a flight during a layover in Phoenix.

US Airways says Jackson was being disruptive on the flight, but Jackson says flight attendants used racial slurs against him.

There has been a lot of support for him online after he claimed an US Airways flight attendant used the N-word in an altercation in the air.

Jackson then took to Twitter.

It was quite the event on Monday on US Airways Flight 629 into Phoenix from New York City.

On the flight, Jackson tweets from his seat, accusing and calling out a female flight attendant for using racist slurs when speaking with him.

Jackson tweets: "Dear #USAIRWAYS your staff is racist they said 'I don't care if your Obama son get in your seat!!!'"

He goes on to tweet: "Guys this is not a joke this racism in 2013 ..."

According to TMZ, flight attendants accused him of being drunk and disorderly.

Although, a man who sat next to Jackson on the flight told national media that Jackson wasn't drunk.

The actor went on to tweet: "The problem is they want to escort me off the plane for her racial slurs."

"We are about to land I have to turn my computer off if your a real fan you will help me rally ... I cant go to jail for racism against me."

One of the actor's last tweets about the incident at Phoenix Sky Harbor: "I was released from question and stranded in phx they will not let me fly anymore I don't want to .."

Jackson eventually boarded another flight to Burbank, Calif. But, the rally for his defense was ongoing online.
