DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

Mike Duggan and his supporters will gather together inside a ballroom of the Detroit Marriot hotel at the Renaissance Center.

Fox 2's Taryn Asher is there. She says Duggan is taking it easy after almost losing his voice. Earlier today, however, he was out on the streets campaigning after casting his ballot. He says he is happy to see his name there, rather than being a write-in candidate.

Duggan's Election Night campaign event officially begins at 8 p.m.
