Child porn found inside home purchased at Wayne County auction

Posted: Updated:
DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

A Metro Detroit man got a lot more than he bargained for in the Wayne County property auction. Frank Romauni bought a dilapidated house on Detroit's east side for a little more than $1000.

When he went to check out the property over the weekend, he found a stash of child pornography inside. He says the pictures are of young, African American girls who were clearly sexually assaulted.

"I've seen a lot of bad things but I never want to see something like that again," he told Fox 2. "It was horrible. I don't even want the house anymore, seriously, after something like this."

Romauni called 911 right away. He says he considers the whole house a crime scene. Detroit Police are investigating.
