GILBERT, Ariz. -

Three Gilbert employees witnessed a vehicle hit a 15-year-old on a bicycle near Val Vista Drive and Juniper Avenue and helped police catch the suspect.

Gilbert Utility workers Oscar Fuentez, Mark Hoffman and Jaime McNamara were driving to a job site when they saw a vehicle hit a teen on a bike and then take off on Oct. 17.

The men reportedly pulled over to help the boy and took down the man's license plate number, a vehicle description and a picture of the driver.

Using the information they gathered, police were able to find the man at a home and arrest him.

Details about the suspect weren't released.
