Eastern Michigan University students plan to gather for a candlelight vigil Thursday for football player Demarius Reed.

The 20-year-old communication major from Chicago was shot multiple times, in what police believe was a robbery.

Visitation for Reed happens Friday, October 25, 2013. His funeral is Saturday.

This school says "Increase the Peace" events have been scheduled throughout Thursday afternoon.

Crimestoppers is offering a reward to help solve the case. If you have any information call 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
