SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

A cardboard city popped up in Scottsdale to educate the community it an extremely visual way.

Nearly 500 people will be sleeping in boxes under the stars Saturday night.

Participants made their own cardboard homes in the urban outdoors of Scottsdale Stadium.

The event will raise money for Family Promise of Greater Phoenix, which provides meals and services to homeless families.

FOX 10's Nicole Garcia reports.
