PHILADELPHIA -

Two men were caught on video swiping more than $6,000 worth of merchandise from a store in the Cedarbrook section of Philadelphia, police say.

The theft occurred Oct. 2, a Wednesday, at 2:20 p.m. inside Sneaker Villa, located at 1616 Wadsworth Avenue.

According to police, who released surveillance video of the incident on Tuesday, the two suspects acted as if they were shopping while a car driven by a third suspect waited in front of the store.

The guys inside collected several brown Levi jackets and gray Nike hooded sweatshirts, valued at a total of $6,080, and placed them onto one rack, police said.

Then, they grabbed all of the clothing and ran outside to the waiting silver or gray, late-model Pontiac Grand Prix of Bonneville sedan, which may have had damage to the passenger side front fender.

Police described both men as being black and about 20-years-old. The first with a stocky build wore a black, sleeveless T-shirt, camouflage pants, dark-colored sneakers, and a dark-colored baseball cap with a red brim. The other guy had a medium build, wore a dark-colored T-shirt with a white-colored emblem on the front, blue jeans, a dark-colored baseball cap and dark-colored sneakers.

If you see these suspects, police say not to approach them. Call 9-1-1 immediately. To submit a tip, call 215-686-TIPS (8477) or text it to PPD TIP or 773847.
