GILBERT, Ariz. -

She died when a car came crashing through her classroom at a medical institute in Gilbert. A week later, her fellow students, family and friends are still stunned at the horrible accident.

They came together Friday night to help each other through this difficult time and to remember Lacey Guntorad.

22-year-old Guntorad died after an 87-year-old plowed her vehicle into the massage school, pinning her underneath. Guntorad was an aspiring massage therapist and worked part-time at a nearby Starbucks.

A small memorial has been set up with candles, flowers and notes. Dozens of family, friends, and coworkers gathered to remember her and share stories about her.

"Lacey was one of those that when she made your coffee, she did something special to that coffee. And that was love. She really went out of her way to do special things. People love her, and that's the kind of person she was. She was love," said friend Ivanca Fox.

"She was so young. So beautiful. Such a wonderful person. We just pray she's in heaven, she's better, she's good," says Care Coffee, friend.

"I know one of the things that Lacey did is she always laughed. She was a beautiful person from the inside out, so that's something I know she would've wanted everybody to know," added Fox.

So many people came to remember Lacey -- even the first responders, the firefighters and officers who came on scene trying to rescue her.

Haili Hill was the second woman who was pinned beneath that out-of-control car. She survived and has undergone several surgeries.

Hill's family tells us she still has some more time in the hospital before she is released, but that she's improving daily.

FOX 10's Jessica Flores reports.
