ASU Police arrest 2 would-be bike thieves

TEMPE, Ariz. -

ASU Police have arrested two people they caught on ASU's Tempe campus attempting to steal bikes.

Officers conducting surveillance on bike racks on campus encountered two suspicious people Thursday morning.

Kale David Olson, 41, and Jaimie Louise Reynolds, 36, admitted they were there to steal bikes. They are not students.

They were arrested for outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants, and booked into the 4th Ave Jail.

It's unclear if the pair was responsible for any other bike thefts on campus recently.
