PHOENIX (AP) - Three men are in custody after Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies seized five pounds of methamphetamine at a home west of Phoenix.

Deputies say the arrests were made Tuesday night after a search warrant was served at the house.

They say all the suspects admitted that they were in the country illegally. They were identified as Jose De Jesus Manjarrez-Cruz, Miguel Antonio Ramos-Ramirez, and Armando Zazueta-Vega.

They also admitted to transporting the seized drugs across the U.S. border with Mexico.

The three men have been booked into the downtown Phoenix jail on possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale and conspiracy.

All three are being held without bond because of their immigration status.
