ATLANTA -

Rome police investigating the death of 3-year-old Gabriella Camp have arrested David Zachary Gresham and charged him with aggravated battery, cruelty to children and reckless conduct.

Police say the child was first treated for her injuries at Floyd Medical Center about 11:30 a.m. last Tuesday. She was later airlifted to Children's at Scottish Rite Pediatrics Hospital in Atlanta. Camp died from her injures at 10:55 a.m. last Thursday, police said.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab conducted an autopsy to determine Camp's cause of death last Friday. As of Wednesday, the GBI Crime Lab has not released the autopsy report.

Police say they are continuing their investigation.
