TEMPE, Ariz. -

A young artist took a rundown tennis court that no one ever used and turned it into a colorful dog park. All she needed was paint and a great imagination.

This is Lauren Lee's favorite mural. It's located at 909 West Apartments in Tempe. It's all about dogs.

"This is the first time I got to paint dogs and I am a huge dog lover."

The mural is covered with the dogs from the neighborhood.

Lauren couldn't resist putting her own dog on the mural. Her Tempe neighbors love the idea.

"One is the colors, you can see the colors when you're on the third floor of our first building, second of all the pictures were done with real dogs," says Kathie Udeck.

This Yuma artist loves to do murals. You'll see her work around Phoenix.

"Each time you create you have to create it for everyone, it's not just me."

Lauren's dream is to paint the world with murals. She's very good at it. Her next mural will be for a charity for children.
