Idol winner Taylor Hicks to perform at arts center

ATLANTA -

American Idol winner Taylor Hicks is in Atlanta this week thanks to the Westside Cultural Arts Center. He's performing at the center's opening on Thursday night.

The ceremony goes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. After the 6 p.m. ribbon cutting, Taylor will sign autographs and perform. The Westside Cultural Arts Center is located at 760 10th Street NW.

You can also sink your teeth into a passion of Taylor's and the focus of his new project: Taste of Home's new cookbook, Recipes Across America. You can find it now in bookstores nationwide.

During Taylor's visit to Good Day on Wednesday, Karen Graham got the scoop on all of his latest projects, if he watches American Idol these days and his thoughts on the new judges' for season 13 of Idol!
