CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

It's something no passenger wants to see: 5 people become sick on a flight, let alone one from Germany to Chicago.

That is exactly what happened Saturday night at O'Hare Airport.

Lufthansa Airlines flight 432 was a rough one for several passengers. According to an airline spokesman -- a passenger had a heart attack a half hour into the flight from Frankfurt to Chicago O'Hare. The plane had to make an emergency landing in London.

Flight 432 took off once again, bound for Chicago. As the plane flew over Canada, four 'other' passengers began to have heart issues.

According to traveler Leo Sulas, passengers were asked to remain seated as the flight was about to land in Chicago. They were told that more sick people had to be removed from the plane upon landing.

An airport employee saw the commotion as paramedics transported at least two of the passengers to an area hospital.

"I'm aware that the people were older individuals," said Daniel Georgiev, an eye-witness.

The Chicago Fire Department says two of the four people were hospitalized for nausea and were listed in good condition.

Back at O'Hare Airport, other passengers collecting their luggage were still in disbelief at the whole situation.

"I travel quite a lot and this is the first time I saw that sort of thing," said Sulas.

There is alleged talk that the cabin pressure was an issue. Lufthansa Airlines is still investigating why the other four passengers became ill.
