DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

A 70-year-old woman was leaving the Family Dollar on 7 Mile Rd. near Livernois when she drove her car into a sinkhole.

"It scared me! I was scared. I didn't know what to think and I got on a phone call with my husband and told him I had an accident. I didn't know it was like this. It's worse than what I thought," Carol Marzette tells Fox 2.

Rescue crews had to help her out of her car and say the sinkhole is almost 8 feet deep.

A resident living nearby says she's made several calls about the sinkhole without any type of response.
