Delaware State Police have arrested 66-year-old James Erbaugh after he shot numerous rounds toward his neighbors.

The incident happened on the unit block of Firetower Road in Camden-Wyoming, DE on September 9. Around 6:30 p.m., troopers were called to the residence after a report of man shooting his gun in the direction of a neighbor that was outside with six other people, including four young children.

State Police report that after the troopers left the residence, Erbaugh emerged from his house armed with a .22 caliber handgun and fired several shots in the direction of a dirt pile located approximately 160 feet from the neighbor's residence. Prior to shooting his gun, Erbaugh shouted several harassing statements to the 32-year-old homeowner.

James Erbaugh was transported to Troop 3 where he was arrested for 7 counts of Reckless Endangering, 3 counts of Harassment, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

Erbaugh was also issued a no-contact order with any of the victims and was required to surrender all weapons in his home.
