New shop in Senoia where business is "Dead"

Posted: Updated:
SENOIA, Ga. -

One shop in Senoia just opened its doors and already they are saying that business is dead. That's because they are catering to the fans of post-apocalyptic zombie series "The Walking Dead."

The Woodbury Shoppe opened its doors in May, just a couple months after the AMC hit series closed out its third season.

The shop is named after the fictional town of Woodbury in the series. Senoia has played host to the televised town for the third and upcoming fourth seasons.

The Woodbury Shoppe bills itself as an Apocalyptic Provisioner, but one is more likely to find a t-shirt, bobblehead, picture books, posters and other collectibles on its shelves.

Since opening, owners say the fans have been flocking to the store to take home a piece of their visit to see the real-life Woodbury.

Their online shop is set to open soon, but until then fans can get updates from the shop at facebook.com/WoodburyShoppe or on Twitter at @WoodbuyShoppe.
