Posted: Updated:
PONTIAC, Mich. (WJBK) -

Erebus is looking for characters to join its scare team.

Auditions are September 7th and 8th from 1PM - 5PM at Erebus, 18 S. Perry St. in Pontiac.

Owner Edward Terebus says those who try out will be placed in one of the rooms of the haunted house, and they'll have to try to scare a group of people including several managers and the casting director. Each person auditioning will be given a character.

Anyone can try out, as long as you're over 18 years of age. Terebus says they've had actors as old as 67.

The upcoming Halloween season kicks off Friday, September 13. The job will pay minimum wage.

Erebus is the largest haunted house in the state of Michigan.
