2 Persons Of Interest In Del. Park Gang Rape, Cops Say

Posted: Updated:
WILMINGTON, Del. -

Police in Delaware say they have identified two persons of interest in connection with a violent crime committed in broad daylight.

Last week, two women said they were attacked by several teens in Kosciuszko Park in Wilmington.

Police say the victims were sitting on a bench when two teens attacked them.

On Tuesday night, Wilmington residents expressed their concerns and discussed what steps need to be taken to prevent crimes like this in the future.

"We know what the problems are, and the fact that it was 10 to 12 juveniles is disturbing everyone in the community. So, we want to have a call to action and then follow through with the action," said Wilmington City Councilwoman Sherry Dorsey Walker.

Police say that, while they know who they're looking for, they haven't made any arrests yet.
