Nekter: A Healthy Way To Start Your Day

Steve and Alexis Schulze the husband and wife owners of Nekter, joined Maria and Mason in studio today to get the morning off to a healthy start and to show us how easy it is with two drinks they created for Good Day LA.

Combine Frozen strawberries, orange juice and agave
Grab a handful of fresh raw spinach
Garnish with a fun straw and orange wheel

**QUICK TIP**:  Here's the secret: as long as you use a lot of strawberries, you can sneak some spinach in there and it doesn't change the color - the kids never know it's in there. We make these at nékter -- just use code word "sneaky spinach."  Add in some yogurt for protein and you'll have energy all morning.

Here are five common problems we all encounter, and some solutions from Nekter to help tackle them - with extra health benefits!

1. No energy?
Get a little apple boost.  Better yet, juice apples with greens! Apples juiced give an instant kick, while the greens provide a longer lasting energy.
