ATLANTA -

A 5-year-old boy remains in intensive care after being injured by a falling tree in Walton County last week.

Tristen Wilson and his 3-year-old sister, Anslee, were playing at a family friend's house in Walton County on Friday night when an old 40-foot tree fell.

"I heard my friend's cousin scream in the driveway, and I looked over and the tree was on the ground on top of my son. And I [saw] Anslee sitting up, not moving. She was clearly in shock," said Ron Saint, the children's father.

Anslee's leg was broken, but she'll be OK.

Tristen suffered several broken bones and a punctured lung, but most concerning to his parents and doctors is the swelling on the young boy's brain. He's been placed in a medically-induced coma.

"Today they did notice some movement in the left side of his body and he did have some movement in his right side, so we are very hopeful in that aspect," said Dana Wilson, Tristen's mother.

The boy's parents are trying to convey that hope to Anslee.

"We're encouraging her to draw pictures or color pictures for Tristen every day, because Tristen wants a picture. He's just resting," said Saint. "He's going to be OK, is what we tell her."

And though they're at his bedside around the clock, his parents said they miss Tristen.

"I tell him I love him. And he says, 'I love you. And I love you more.'  And his favorite saying back to me is, 'I love you mostest more, mommy.' And I know I'll be able to hear that again one day," said Wilson.

Doctors say it's too early to know the extent of Tristen's injuries, according to the family. Tristen's parents are asking for prayers.
